Four people have been killed in a horror week on Victoria's roads.
Police this morning added the death of a 77-year-old cyclist to the road toll after he died after a group ride in the state's north.
Police believe the Kyabram man and two other riders knocked handle bars, causing him to lose control and fall off his bike onto Everard Road in Kyabram on October 21.
He was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening injuries but died five days later on October 26. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Yesterday three people where killed in separate accidents, causing this year's road toll to rise to 238, compared with 224 at the same time last year.
A motorcyclist was the first victim, after he lost control of his bike in Gippsland. Police are yet to identify the man but said he was travelling north towards Noojee on Main Neerim Road about 9.30am and died at the scene.
